Size: 6.2x2.6x2.2cm 68.5g

Mineral: Tourmaline

Locality: Himalaya Mine Mesa Grande, San Diego Co. California, USA

Description: Large, doubly terminated multi-colored tourmaline from the now closed Himalaya Mine. The upper termination is a lovely deep cranberry-red, and the rest of the crystal alternates between green and pinkish-red zones. I believe this find with the purple caps was made in the 1980’s.
