Description: One of my favorite specimens from the Dennis Novak Collection. He purchased this piece from Arizona collector Melvin Elkins likely in the 1970’s. This piece comes from the lavender pit extension. It exhibits the iconic dark sparkling blue azurite in combination with a delicately colored malachite with a blue green color. Truly a knockout American classic for a collection.
