Description: Rosettes of electric blue azurite sit on top of a dark manganese matrix. The contrast of colors makes this quite a striking specimen. The Jerome locality is unusual, and the provenance of this specimen is quite excellent from the collection of Terry Wallace. However after consulting with a well known Arizona collector with decades of expertise, the Jerome locality has been called into question. This is primarily due to the dark manganese matrix which is reminiscent of Morenci.
