Azurite w Malachite, Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Santa Cruz Muni., Sonora, Mexico

$2,000.00

Size: 3.6x3.4x2.8 cm

Species: Azurite w Malachite

Locality: Milpillas Mine, Cuitaca, Santa Cruz Muni., Sonora, Mexico

Description: Milpillas is among one of the best localities in the world for Azurite crystals and this specimen certainly does not disappoint. A 3.6cm sharp lustrous crystal is associated with a smaller crystal on the right hand side and minor malachite on the back. The faces are mirror bright, and the growth striations on the azurite serve to further accentuate the saturated color of the azurite. A very good collector quality specimen from a famous mine.
