Size: 6.4x5.3x3.9 cm

Species: Barite

Locality: Book Cliffs area, Grand Junction, Mesa County, Colorado, USA

Description: This specimen is wonderfully balanced with a pair of “rabbit ears” baryte crystals sitting on top of a matrix of opaque white baryte. The two baryte blades are water clear, sharp, and have top notch luster. The specimen is very aesthetic and stands heads and shoulders above the majority of specimens I have seen from this locality. Please note Mel repaired this specimen himself after collecting it. Ex. Mel Bersch self collected 1978
