Size: 4.7x4.2x2.8cm

Mineral: Baryte

Locality: Clara Mine, Oberwolfach, Wolfach, Ortenaukreis Baden-Württemberg, Germany

Description: The Clara mine is important locality for those who micro minerals and rare species. It is also known to have produced a number of baryte and fluorite specimens of macro size and good quality. The area has been mined since 1726 and I believe it is the only currently producing mine in the Black Forest. (https://www.mindat.org/loc-1782.html). If you have been looking for a nice quality baryte from this classic locality in Germany this is certainly a reasonably priced opportunity.

Please feel free to request videos of the specimen via email at dan@danzrockshop.com for further details.
