Description: A nice miniature of the “Sugar Bowl Pocket” find at the Murray Mine. There is some later stage barytes grown atop the quartz in places. The display face is pristine. Minor damage to the barytes on the backside, and the matrix is broken off on the bottom. This material was nicknamed the “sugar bowl” due to the druzy quartz coating the blocky baryte crystals. This specimen is from the personal collection of Casey Jones who held the commercial specimen collecting contract for the Murray Mine when this find was made.
