Baryte, Quartz, Murray Mine, Elko County, Nevada, USA

$500.00

Size: 5.9x5.2x2.6 cm

Species: Baryte, Quartz

Locality: Murray Mine, Elko County, Nevada, USA

Description: A great example of the “Sugar Bowl Pocket” find at the Murray Mine. The backside is contacted but the display face is pristine minus a single minor ding to the quartz. A glittering well terminated cluster. This material was nicknamed the “sugar bowl” due to the druzy quartz coating the blocky baryte crystals. This specimen is from the personal collection of Casey Jones who held the commercial specimen collecting contract for the Murray Mine when this find was made.
