The display face is in great condition and shows the barytes coated in quartz, with another generation of smaller barytes all over the quartz. The backside and periphery are contacted. This material was nicknamed the “sugar bowl” due to the druzy quartz coating the blocky baryte crystals. This specimen is from the personal collection of Casey Jones who held the commercial specimen collecting contract for the Murray Mine when this find was made. Ex: Casey Jones
