Description: A very unique and unusual twin calcite from England. This twinning style is referred to as a boat twin on the original label. Looking at the growth hillocks of the surface they are offset on the front face of the crystal leading me to believe the twin is intergrown into itself. The calcite is of superb quality with a lustrous textured surface and a translucent interior. This historic example is in fantastic condition with no significant visible damage. Comes with a custom cut acrylic base.
