Calcite, Denton Mine, Harris Creek, Hardin County, Illinois, USA
Size: 16.5x9.5x7 cm
Species: Calcite
Locality: Denton Mine, Harris Creek, Hardin County, Illinois, USA
Description: Here we have a large twinned calcite from the Denton Mine. This is one of the nicest large Denton calcites I have had the pleasure of owning and it resided in personal collection for the past 4 years after purchasing it from well know Illinois dealer and collector Jared Freiberg. The luster is top notch. The condition is very good although I do note 2 small 1-3mm spot that appear to have been lightly acid etched to remove dings. Ex. Ross Lillie collection with his catalog number still affixed to the back of the specimen.
