Description: A vibrant specimen of calcite included with dioptase from the famous Tsumeb Mine. Rhombohedral crystals of calcite up to 1.5 cm are partially coated and included with glittering dioptase. An overgrowth of finer calcite crystals covers much of the dioptase. I note a single cleaved corner on one of the calcites that is hardly noticeable. In great condition otherwise, with sharp edges and bright luster.
