Description: This excellent specimen from Illinois features a 6.3 cm focal crystal of vibrant orange calcite jutting straight up from matrix, with minor associated fluorite and sphalerite. Razor sharp edges and a pristine termination, with lustrous faces and translucent interior that glows under backlight. Great aesthetics and in fantastic condition. Stands on its own and presents well from multiple angles. The calcite on the side has minor damage but the main crystal is perfect. Ex: Ernie Collins
