Description: A superbly aesthetic crown of transparent calcites from the famed Bigrigg mine in England. The aesthetics of this specimen are top notch with the focal crystal nicely centered at the apex of the specimens surrounded by lesser calcites arranged in an excellent display of natural symmetry. The terminations are razor sharp and undamaged outside of on minor crystal on the periphery. It is becoming very hard for collectors to find a classic English calcite of this caliber at a reasonable price. This specimen was in the calcite collection of Richard K. Smith .
