Calcite, Twins, 2566 Level, Campbell Shaft, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
Size: 11x8.5x6.5 cm
Species: Calcite, Twins
Locality: 2566 Level, Campbell Shaft, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona, USA
Description: A very nice calcite from the 2566 level of the Campbell Shaft in Bisbee Arizona. This specimen was likely mines in the 1930s based on its position in the mine development and the age of the collection. The crystals are lustrous and translucent. I see only one ding on the edge when turning it around in my hands, I would say that’s good condition for a specimen almost 100 years old. Ex: Richard K. Smith
