Description: A lustrous and gemmy single crystal of celestite to 3.5 cm sits upright on matrix with a number of double terminated yellow calcites. Sharp terminations all around and nice color contrast. A great example from this classic Michigan locality within the Findlay Arch Mineral District. An uncommon sight on the market, this specimen is in good condition with the exception of a one time repair to the celestite. The calcite fluoresces a cream color under UV light and phosphoresces as well. Ex: David Rush
