Description: The Hanksboda Mine operated as early as the 1400’s sporadically through the 1870’s, with the major mining period happening from 1700-1873. Additionally, there was a brief attempt at minor mining operations during WW1. These specimens are becoming almost impossible to find and this is a nice example. This cobaltite cube is lustrous, with surface striations and presents nicely on matrix. A great addition to any collection. Ex. Anders Lyckberg
