Description: A lustrous cluster of cuprites on matrix with minor calcite rhombohedrons. There are two main points of crystallization on the specimen, one of which is overgrown with calcite. The other is in good condition up to the edge of the small cavity. The calcites are slightly bruised all around, but overall a flashy matrix specimen of this copper oxide. Ex: John Magnasco
