Description: Tsumeb is perhaps the finest locality in the world for dioptase. This specimen is a very nice example from this now closed locality. It features crystals up to 1.1 cm on and in a white crystalline calcite matrix. No damage to note in the center portion of the specimen, just minor contacts along the outer edge, where it was nicely trimmed into this aesthetic arrangement.
