Description: A classic tricolor Illinois fluorite that is up to 6.2 cm on the longest edge of the main crystal. Great luster on the textured surfaces, and sharp edges all around. Internal zoning shows the vibrant yellow core, with a thin purple line and then final blue outer edge. Great silhouette with a prominent corner at the top that is razor sharp. Isolated chalcopyrites are present along the surface and as inclusions. In great condition, there is minimal damage to this cabinet specimen. Backlights well to glow a rich color and display the outer zones. Note that the specimen is shown with some backlight. Ex: Joel Baskin #218
