Species: Fluorite and micro Calcite on Sphalerite

Locality: Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith Co., Tennessee, USA

Description: Two gorgeous complete raspberry fluorite cubes site on top of sphalerite matrix. The cubes feature excellent growth hillocks giving a lovely texture to the fluorite while still retaining its top notch luster. The largest of the cubes is oriented top and center drawing the eye nicely into the specimen as a point of focus. The dusting of mico calcite crystals on the fluorite adds a nice touch of sparkle. Really hard to find a wonderful raspberry colored specimen like this quality anymore.
