Description: Small glittering cubes of purple fluorite on matrix from this uncommon Ohio locality. Situated right next to the coast of Lake Erie, this active quarry has continued to grow over the years and has expanded around the outskirts of a local cemetery that offers a view into the deep open pit. Fluorites here do not get very large and are almost always some shade of purple. This specimen has nice isolation and impressions of fossils coral on the matrix. Ex: Randy Marsh
