Description: A vibrant blue cube of blue halite sits centered on a matrix of colorless halite. The main focal crystal is just over 2 cm on edge and has great translucency, with bright luster and sharp edges. These blue halite specimens were collected by Phil Simmons and others between 2007 and 2012 at the Kerr McGee Mine in New Mexico and is the best find of blue halite in the US and perhaps internationally as well.
