Description: These large hoppered mimetite crystals from Guatomo rank among some of the largest in the world. The locality has historically produced since the mid 1800’s but the majority of these quality mimetites were collected by Marco Sacci in the later 1990’s. The locality, which is adjacent to a Buddhist monastery, only produced for a short duration before abruptly the supply of specimens from the mine ceased. This particular specimen is lustrous and very brightly colored. These specimens are damage free floaters with no points of attachment.
