Locality: South Side of Pit, Flambeau Mine, Ladysmith, Rusk Co., Wisconsin, USA

Description: A very rare species from the now closed Flambeau Mine in Wisconsin. A thin wafer of copper with a nice patina. Specimen shows some bending and folding from its thin and fragile nature. The property was operated by Kennecott up through 1997 and has now been completely reclaimed and revegetated. No specimens will likely ever come from this mine again. This specimen is from the personal collection of Casey Jones who held the commercial specimen collecting contract for Flambeau. Collected by Casey Jones 1995
