Description: A rare lead carbonate on a lead sulphide matrix, from a classic Italian locality. The focal crystal of 2.4 cm rests around numerous smaller, glittering crystals of phosgenite on the galena matrix. Translucent, smoky interior, with lustrous faces and sharp edges. In good condition, I note a slight contact at one end of the main crystal.
