Description: An aesthetic miniature from this unique and recent find in the Congo. Twinned cerussite with a bright green phosphohedyphane coating. Vibrant color and complete on the backside as well. In good overall condition, the phosphohedyphane has broken away in two places to reveal a hollow cast and some of the original cerussite, which is lustrous on its very textured faces. Botryoidal form and varying shades of green on the phosphohedyphane. Phosphoheadyphane is formed when the cerussite is exposed to a phosphate solution. In my opinion this find is the finest for the species.
