Description: A wonderful miniature from this unique and recent find in the Congo. Twinned cerussites have been epimorphed by bright green phosphohedyphane. Small openings in the crystalling coatings reveal a hollow interior where the cerussites have all been etched away. Botryoidal texture and complete on all sides. Vibrant color and sharp terminations, this is an excellent specimen in pristine condition. Phosphoheadyphane is formed when the cerussite is exposed to a phosphate solution. In my opinion this find is the finest for the species.
