$3,500.00

Size: 7.0×6.3×3.0 cm

Species: Pyromorphite

Locality: Wheatley Mines, Schuylkill Township, Chester Co., Pennsylvania, USA

Description: I was shocked when I cam across this specimen in Dennis Novak’s collection. Wheatley pyromorphites are few and far between on the modern market. The mine was operated over two short periods from 1850-1860 and from 1917-1920. These specimens are avidly sought after by East Coast collectors and those with an appreciation for American mining history.
