Description: A lustrous and sharp Japan Law Twin smoky quartz from New Mexico. Gemmy, well-terminated, and perched on a bit of matrix. There is a single millimeter ding to an edge that is not distracting and a small impression on one side. World class specimens were produced from this locality in 1979. For a time afterwards these specimens were very hard to find. More recently Phil Simmons was able to field collect some good specimens which quickly sold out. This specimen is from the recent production.
