Description: A very nice matrix specimen of intergrown scalenohedral rhodochrosite with light purple fluorites. The fluorites have a very odd habit that are modified to the point of almost appearing spherical. Both species are lustrous and in good condition. I note a couple cleaved rhodochrosites, largely along the perimeter of the specimen. An aesthetic combo from Peru. Ex: Mel Bersch
