Rhodochrosite, Potosí Mine, Francisco Portillo, W. Camp, Santa Eulalia Dist. Chihuahua, Mexico

$1,500.00

Size: 12.5x11.0x8.0cm

Species: Rhodochrosite, Galena, Sphalerite pseduo after Pyrrhotite, Hematite

Locality: Potosí Mine, Francisco Portillo, W. Camp, Santa Eulalia Dist. Chihuahua, Mexico Scott Williams

Description: Ignoring the blatantly aesthetic appeal of the bright pink rhodochrosite this is quite an interesting specimen due to the association of hematite. Really fantastic to have well developed crystal of Rhodochrosite, Galena, Sphalerite pseduo after Pyrrhotite, and Hematite all in one action packed specimen. If you collect species from Mexico or Santa Eulalia in particular this is a must have.
