Description: Here we have a wonderfully rich plate from the famous Sweet Home Mine that is absolutely packed with species. We have sharp red rhodochrosite crystals up to 1.1cm adjacent to lustrous cubic cornflower blue fluorites on a black gun metal matrix of galena and sphalerite with white sprays of needle quartz highlighted by sparkles of gold pyrite. If you like combination specimens this is certainly a winner. This particular specimen can be traced from its catalog number SH2416 painted on the back of the piece to be from the Blue Moon Pocket which was collected in 1996. The specimen comes with an old label. All of the crystals I see on this specimen are in great condition. Ex: Bill Williams
