Description: A very vibrant specimen of sharp euhedral salmon pink rhodochrosite crystals on a brown contrasting matrix composed of manganese and sulfide minerals. When observing this specimen under a microscope it is noted that there are incredibly crystographically complex gemmy fluorites on the matrix. The sharp color contrast of the rhodochrosite on the matrix really makes the rhodochrosite stand out. I note a couple broken crystals that do not detract from the overall aesthetics.
