Description: Good specimens from this locality have always been sparse but over the years they have seemed to virtually disappear. This particular piece has a nice rutile crystal with excellent luster perched on top of orangey tan pyrophyllite. The rutile does have minor damage however it is nice to find a specimen with the pyrophyllite texture still intact. Most specimens have to be prepped using HF acid which eats away the pyrophyllite matrix.
