Description: A Canadian classic, these floater specimens of selenite are a light yellow color and fluoresce incredibly bright white with a faint blue, with a phosphorescent green afterglow that lasts for quite a few seconds. They are just as display worthy in plain light, with sharp edges, lustrous faces, and gemmy interior. This specimen is in excellent condition, I note a single small ding that is hardly noticeable. An aesthetic focal crystal rises from the top, and there is some fish-tail twinning present as well. For over 20 years now, collecting has been carefully controlled and enforced to be closed to the public. Ex: Gene Schlepp. Please note the UV photo looks more blue due to the fluorescent photography they appear more white in person.
