Description: A great combination example from this classic Chinese locality. Not many of the specimens from this prolific mine have all of the attributes seen here. Top luster all around, with sharp terminations and edges. Nice translucency in the smoky quartz and saturated red color in the spessartine garnets. Some of the garnets are visibly included in the smoky quartz, which has recrystallized on the bottom as well. In fantastic condition, I note no visible damage. Ex: Gene Schlepp
