Description: Highly sought after by mineral collectors zinolivenite is an intermediary member in a solid solution series of olivenite and adamite. The best specimens of this relatively rare species come from the now closed Tsumeb Mine. This particular specimen features a beautiful saturated green color with top notch luster. The aesthetics are great with a lovely pinwheel sitting top and center as the focal point of the specimen. This specimen was previously part of the well known Dr. Neal Luppescu collection as part of his extensive Tsumeb suite.
